This is a school-year-long class to learn the basics of faith, what it means to be a Christian, and “Claiming the Name” of Methodists. 

The purpose of Confirmation class is to introduce the participants to the basics of the Christian faith and specifics of United Methodism in order to strengthen your faith and equip you to decide whether or not you wish to join the membership roll of First United Methodist Church of Orange.  We will do this through community building, worship, study, experiential learning, and fun.

Confirmation is a call to discipleship, a call for students to claim the name Christian for themselves.
