FELLOWSHIP LIFE
Fellowship Life, formerly known as Family Life, is a committee committed to encouraging all church members to grow together during activities and through fellowship among all ages.
The members of the group felt the name change was necessary for the name to reflect the mission of the committee, so we presented the request for a name change before the Council last year. Many church members often made the assumption that activities planned by the former Family Life committee were only for people or families with young children. On the contrary, the committee wants to encourage all ages and generations to support and attend events so that we may benefit from getting to know one another and recognize the value in having a church diverse in generations. When we get to know one another, we can provide support for one another better, and therefore, reach out to others in a more unified, loving manner. So, please join us whenever you see a Fellowship Life event listed in your church newsletter or posted on the calendar.
Some of our past events have been afternoons at a local park, game nights, movie nights, outings to local community events, dinner groups, a trip to Gator Country, canoe trips, and more with a full calendar planned in the future. We also welcome new ideas and committee members anytime!
