Robert “Ted” Emanuel Miller Jr., 80, of Orange passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. 
He was a native of Burkeville, Texas; born on September 8, 1930 to parents Robert Emanuel Miller Sr. and Evalena (Maynard) Miller. He had lived in the Orange area since 1955 and was a member of First United Methodist Church where he was an usher for many years. He was a graduate of Newton High School, Panola Jr. College, Northeast Louisiana Sate College and received his Masters of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. He was inducted into Panola College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010, was a life time member of Texas PTA and Texas State Board of Realtors, president of Region 5 Texas Teachers Association and was named to Southeast Texas Regional Planning Council in 1974. He started the first football program at Little Cypress and retired from LCM CISD after 36 years of dedication to education as principal of LCE, coach/athletic director and administrator. He enjoyed playing golf for many years in “The Herd” at the Sunset Grove Country Club, where he made 2 hole-in-one shots. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Miller Sr.; sisters, Melba Adams and husband, Clyde, Winifred Bailey and husband, Bo; brother in law, Howard See. 
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Jane (Casburn) Miller of Orange; daughters, Tana Thompson and husband, Tommy of Orange, Terri and husband Dr. Fred Brent of Alvin, TX; son, Trey Miller and wife, Cathy of Orange; sister, Robbie See of Kentucky; brother, Charles Miller and wife, Laurie of San Antonio; brother in law, Dr. Edwin Casburn and wife Linda of San Antonio; cousin, J.E. Miller. Grandchildren, Tayler, Tiffani and Tara Thompson, Tyler Miller, Austin, Alex and Abby Brent. 
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 3 pm at First United Methodist Church 502 N 6th St. Orange, Texas. Burial will follow at Newton Cemetery in Newton, Texas. ]]></description>

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Orange with Reverend John W. Warren officiating. Visitation will begin at noon prior to the service at the church. Cremation will follow at Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.
Born in Kimberly, Wisconsin on January 24, 1934, James was son of Alex and Esther (Schindler) Malcolm. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. James was very active in the choir and was a member of the Golden Kiwanis. Preceded in death by his parents and Peggy Malcolm, James is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Alma Malcolm of Spring; daughter and son-in-law, Karry and Darryl Craus of Village Mills; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Annette Malcolm of Orange; and son, David Malcolm of Frisco.

Mr. Pou was born in Tenaha to Nathaniel Allen and Frances (Coussons) Pou on January 12, 1919. He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin, served as a 1st Lieutenant in the 2nd Armored Division in the North Africa, Sicily and European theatres of WWII and was an accountant for the Lutcher and Moore Lumber Company, American Bridge Division of US Steel and the Orange County Tax Assessor Office. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church for over 60 years and a member of the Orange Lions Club. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 54 years, Sybie Jean (Schrieber) Pou; brother, William T. Pou and sister, Mildred Pou Wisenbaker. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Charles E. Pou, Jr. of Washington, D.C.; daughter, Carolyn Jean Pou of Austin; sister, Grace Pou McLaughlin of the Woodlands and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
