United Methodist Men (UMM)
The United Methodist Men (UMM) at FUMC Orange completes various projects within the church to improve the church facilities (such as repainting the stripes in the parking lot) and in the community (such as building wheelchair ramps for the elderly). On Easter morning, the group prepares and serves breakfast for the congregation. As one of its fundraising events, the UMM prepare and sell gumbo.The United Methodist Men meet for breakfast and enjoy Bible study and a brief time of prayer at 8 a.m. on the 2nd Saturday of each month. All men are encouraged to attend.
Orange County United Methodist Men (OCUMM)
Men from various United Methodist churches in Orange County formed Orange County United Methodist Men (OCUMM). One of the recent OCUMM projects included building two mobile medical units. These units were then filled with equipment/supplies and shipped to third-world countries which needed to have medical supplies.
This group meets quarterly at one of the churches to share a meal, fellowship, and a program.
