All junior high/middle school and high school students are invited to join our active youth ministry in a variety of programs that build character and increase our growth in the Christian life.

  • Sunday Nights from 5-7 p.m.

The Youth Ministry of First United Methodist Church Orange teaches students to be zealous about their God through a united community not only sharing the gospel with others but also discipling others into a relationship with Christ.

Jr. High/Middle School Sunday School

Each Sunday, the junior high students share how God is working in our lives and look more in depth at the Old Testament. We meet at 10 a.m. in Class Room 4 (upstairs) in the Family Life Center.

Sr. High Sunday School

Each Sunday the senior high students share how God is working in our lives and look more in depth at the New Testament. We gather in Class Room 2 (upstairs) in the Family Life Center at 10 a.m.

C.R.E.W. (Christians Ready, Equipped, and Willing)

Each Sunday night from 5-7 p.m. (fall and spring) 6-12th graders are welcome to join us in the Family Life Center for a meal, fellowship, worship, music, skits, games, a lesson, and small groups.

Youth Council

The Youth Council, a handpicked group of student leaders by the Youth Director, lead parts of the Sunday night C.R.E.W. program as well as learn each week of how to develop leadership skills. They meet each Sunday night in the Youth Room after the CREW program.

Confirmation

Confirmation is offered in the Spring Semester to 6th graders and older youth who have yet to be confirmed as members into the church. This class focuses on the core beliefs of Methodism and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Confirmation class follows the Wednesday Night Live schedule in the spring and involves a trip to a different religious establishment, a mission's project, as well as a retreat.

Note: All adults who interact with our youth have been Safe Sanctuary trained.
